Community housing

Southern Hills is now one of the premier developers of community housing in NZ. Partnering with CHPs to provide exactly what they need, on time and on budget. If your CHP has a demand for new housing, either to buy on completion or lease from Southern Hills after completion, please get in touch. We can go over existing sites we hold and what may really suit your needs. You may even have your own land holdings that we can develop for you

Build to lease rent/developments

Southern Hills specialises in medium size developments of 6-8 units per site. These can then be bought as investment stock individually, rented individually or full site leases are available where you can manage your own tenants under a head lease. Joint ventures

Southern Hills will happily enter into joint venture developments with land owners. This is generally done with a fee to Southern Hills and a profit share at the end. Southern Hills is also happy to have a long term hold on these investments. This method is perfect if you have a suitable site, where you also want the potential upside in developing yourself

Capital partnerships

Southern Hills is happy to provide capital to your own projects in order to get them started or completed. This is generally done as a loan, however we will also look at an equity partnerships
